2. Our Products
We sell handmade soy wax candles, diffusers and wax melts. As our products are handmade, there may be minor variations in appearance between individual items. These variations are a natural result of the handmade process and do not constitute a defect. Product descriptions and images on our website are as accurate as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your screen will display colours exactly as they appear in real life. All candles, diffusers and wax melts come with safety instructions. Please read these carefully before use. We recommend you also refer to our product pages for specific guidance on burn times and safe use.

3. Placing an Order
By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase our products. We will send you an order confirmation by email, which confirms receipt of your order. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance of your order takes place when we despatch your goods and send you a despatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, including if:
A product is out of stock or no longer available
We are unable to process payment
There is an error in the product description or pricing on our website
If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund.

4. Pricing and Payment
All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout and will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase. We accept payment via the methods shown at checkout. Payment must be received in full before your order is despatched.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices on our website are correct. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you to let you know. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

5. Delivery
We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. Delivery timescales and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. We aim to despatch orders within the timescale shown on our website at the time of purchase. Delivery timescales are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail, courier services or other circumstances outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.

6. Returns and Refunds
Your rights regarding returns and refunds are set out in our Refund Policy. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason. Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to personalised or custom-made products unless they are faulty or not as described.

Our candles, diffusers and wax melts are made for domestic use only. Please follow all safety instructions provided with your product and on our website. In particular:
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep candles and wax melts away from children and pets
Always place candles on a heat-resistant surface
Keep away from draughts, flammable materials and other heat sources
Do not burn candles for longer than the recommended time
Discontinue use if the container becomes cracked or damaged
Failure to follow safety instructions may result in injury or damage. We cannot accept liability for any harm arising from misuse of our products.

All content on our website, including text, images, logos and product descriptions, is owned by or licensed to The Soy Wax Candle Company and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, copy or distribute any content from our website without our prior written permission.

9. Our Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these Terms and Conditions or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
We are not liable for any business losses. Our products are for personal, domestic use only.
